Dr. Sherry Zhao is an expert in project management and innovation promotion, successfully leading multiple innovative collaboration projects and contributing to the development of Canada’s knowledge economy.

She holds a PhD in Chemistry from UBC, a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Peking University, and has completed the Mini MBA program at UBC Sauder School of Business, demonstrating outstanding management capabilities.

In her role at Mitacs, she has successfully promoted multiple innovation projects, helping companies achieve growth. She is committed to fostering academic, industry, and government collaboration to drive innovation and research, with the aim of supporting the development of Canada’s knowledge economy.
